The P4P Story
"More Than Just a Game"
The 2024/2025 school year began with the motto of "bigger and better". The organizing committee worked to create new events, sparking increased participation from the StFX community. A golf tournament, polar plunge, 3v3 tournament, and the introduction of a women's hockey game, Pucks for Purpose saw enourmous growth, more than doubling our fundraising total from the innagural year. It's safe to say P4P had grown to be bigger and better.

2025/2026 came with new faces in leadership, and a young group, as many members of the founding core graduated. With this, came the mission to "cement the legacy" of Pucks for Purpose and show that this student-led group is now an integral part of the StFX campus community.

What began as an idea to bring charity hockey back to StFX in 2023, has quickly developed into a can't miss event on campus.
Pucks for Purpose officially began in 2024, when the innagural game between Business and Art-Sci took place at the Keating Centre. With a nearly sold-out crowd and a night full of fun, the Pucks for Purpose tradition was born.

After a successful year of building on our new events, and revamping our individual fundraising processes, the P4P community made it's largest donation yet of $200,000.
