2024 - 2025
The second Pucks for Purpose Players’ Banquet sponsored by Sodexo saw a packed room of players, execs, coaches, guest speakers and members of our community come together to celebrate all that was accomplished to date. The coaches were officially signed, captains announced, and the reveal of our honorary inaugural alumni captains. Also announced at the banquet was the news that the 2024 Pucks for Purpose Classic was recognized as the Motionball Rookie Event of the Year at their National AGM in Toronto!
We also got to hear speeches from President of StFX University Dr. Andy Hakin, Mike Gillis of the Alumni Association, Mike Greek CEO of Special Olympics Nova Soctia, Roslyn Samson a Special Olympics Champion, and Sadie a former cancer survivor.
